Media Law Services Lebanon | Abou Jaoude & Associates

Media

Our Media practice group team is a leader in the market advising clients representing both the traditional and new media.

The key media and advertising groups turn to us for counseling on advertising, production, post-production, entertainment and other related matters. Our integrated team approach to problem solving allows our media lawyers to draw on the experience of the Firm’s other legal specialists for complementary matters such as protecting intellectual property rights, unfair competition, and acquiring and selling subsidiaries.

While taking into consideration our media clients’ strategic objectives and vision, the Firm also offers relevant advice and practical assistance regarding their day-to-day operation revolving about regulatory compliance, employment issues, corporate governance, and commercial contracts.

In view of the expansion during the past decade of traditional media to new electronic platforms, media companies come to us for our proven experience in classic broadcast and media, as well as our strong telecoms and technology capabilities. We understand the legal issues in connection with digital media and provide advice on a wide range of issues critical to new media clients, including the creation of websites, the registration and protection of domain names and other intellectual property, the implementation of privacy policies, the acquisition and protection of content rights, and the development and utilization of software and digital technology.
