The Firm’s recent notable representative experience in Real Estate and Construction includes:

  • Advised a joint venture between the leading real estate developer GZA Group (Highland Sal) and the biggest UAE property developer Emaar on the development of the multi-million real estate mega-project Beit Misk, built over 655,000 sqm and financed through a hybrid mechanism of convertible debt and equity instruments, including on the regulatory permits and a wide array of property purchase and sale agreements and construction agreements related to the project.
  • Advised prominent contracting group LACECO on several operation and maintenance agreements for major multi-mullion projects tendered by the Lebanese government through the Council of Development and Reconstruction (CDR), including the supervision services agreement for the construction of the Faculty of Sciences within the Lebanese University Campus in Tripoli - Lebanon, and the supervision services agreement for the construction of a waste recycling plants in South Lebanon.
  • Advised premier real estate developer FFA Real Estate on the FIDIC agreements with major contracting group Abniah for the construction of the Badaro Gardens residential project, as well as on the regulatory permits and a wide array of property purchase and sale agreements and construction agreements related to the project.
  • Advised the leading real estate developer Plus Properties Group on a wide array of property purchase agreements and construction agreements related to more than 30 multi-million residential projects in Lebanon and Cyprus, including the GC Towers, Yarzé Gardens, Monte Verde 81, Tilal Bhersaf, and the ‘Plus’ series of building in Nicosia, Limassol and Larnaca.
  • Advised leading construction company Batimat Architects on the design supply agreement for the construction of the multi-million Al Wafra residential project in Al Reem Island in Abu Dhabi. 
  • Advised leading construction company Batimat Architects on the consultancy services agreement and the FIDIC agreements for the construction of the major real estate project Beirut Central.
  • Advised leading construction company Batimat Architects on the major mixed-use Dakar Business Center Project in Senegal in partnership with the SANE CONSULTING Group, which includes a hotel, an office tower, a convention center, and residential facilities.
  • Advised premier developer FFA Real Estate on the development of the large-scale first-of-its-kind Ahlam Lands real estate project, including on the regulatory permits and a wide array of property purchase and sale agreements related to the project.
  • Advised leading real estate developer Zardman (part of GZA group) on a wide array of property purchase and sale agreements and construction agreements related to more than 15 upscale residential and office buildings and gated communities in Lebanon, including the Al Moudir, Mondrian and Myriade projects.
  • Advised renowned international luxury fashion house Zuhair Murad on the FIDIC agreement with leading contracting group MAN Enterprise for the multi-million construction of its new headquarters in Beirut.
  • Advised Saifi Gate on the US$50 Million acquisition from prominent Emirati investment company Abu Dhabi Investment House of a major real estate project involving a sqm180,000 built-up area divided into 8 plots in Beirut’s Central District (Solidere).
  • Advised leading diversified group Malia on a US$10 Million acquisition of a real estate company for the development of the Deir/Natour project, a unique tourist village in Anfeh.
  • Advised a prominent investor on a US$65 Million acquisition of a plot in Beirut’s Central District (Solidere).
  • Advised premier real estate developer FFA Real Estate on the multi-million acquisition of the Naas Springs real estate company involving a complex parceling of plots, and on the regulatory permits and approvals and a wide array of property purchase and sale agreements related to the development of a first-of-its-kind wellness resort.
  • Advised leading construction company Batimat Architects on the architectural services agreement for the development of the major Starco Project in Beirut.
  • Advised premier real estate developer FFA Real Estate on the development of the pioneer Amchit Bay Residences project in North Lebanon, including on the regulatory permits and approvals and a wide array of property purchase and sale agreements related to the project.
  • Advised the consortium between leading energy companies Danish-BWSC/German-MAN Diesel on two €270 Million FIDIC EPC contracts for the installation of medium speed reciprocating engines at the thermal plants in the Zouk and Jiyeh power plants tendered by the Lebanese government.
  • Advised Brazilian multinational construction conglomerate Construtora Andrade Gutierrez SA on the development and construction of the US$250 Million Jannah dam and lake project in Lebanon.
  • Advised a wide spectrum of local, regional, and international clients on acquisitions and disposals of all types of real estate properties in Lebanon, involving pre-acquisition due diligence, parceling of plots, and treatment of encumbrances, as well as on private and commercial lease agreements.
  • Advised several prominent real estate developers, contractors, and architects on all types of construction agreements related to the development of major real estate projects in Lebanon and abroad, including cost-plus contracts, design and build contracts, guaranteed maximum price contracts, incentive construction contracts, integrated project delivery contracts, lump-sum contracts, time and materials contracts, and unit price contracts.
  • Advised several leading companies in the F&B, retail, luxury fashion, and FMCG industries on commercial lease agreements for stand-alone outlets, shops-in-shops, and outlets in major shopping malls in Lebanon and abroad, including the renowned ABC mall and the City Center Beirut mall.
